I am running Vista Ultimate (which I really like more than I expected to) and the bundled Windows DVD Maker really does work well. My alternate choice is Roxio, and I haven't used any other application that I have been 100% happy with. Roxio is nice because it is very user-friendly and quite intuitive.

Wow, Dwayne, you really hate those high DVD prices.
I get by because I have a friend who gets me any DVD I want. Sometimes it's great to be a gal :)

This may come in handy, I'm always burning DVDs from my local video store because the prices of DVDs friggen suck, they're so overpriced it makes my blood boil and the pee leak out onto my crotch and leave a wet patch.

Thanks for the great tool. DVD authoring is not something many do on regular bases but having alternative to paying soft is always nice :-)
